Better than Easter
The first thing the kids do when they get home for school is race to the chicken coop to check on "da girlz." We have five chickens: Titania, Eloise, Primrose, Annabel Lee, and Oliver. They are still young--only 6 months old--but they're all laying these funny, beautiful, small eggs. Today, Chiara found five lovely eggs in the coop, then enjoyed spending some time in the garden snuggling Annabel Lee. It was a beautiful way to pass a warm autumn afternoon. Happy Thursday!
