Susie Morgan is a lifetime lover of horses, the outdoors and lives for adventures. She lives in Las Campanas, and is reconnecting with horses after working 27 years in New York City.


Champion Cowboy and Santa Fe’s own Silver Smith, Clint Mortenson, is hosting events and a Swap Meet to celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy. Open to everyone. No admission fee!

Tack swap - being your old horse gear to sell or trade. Free set up - Bring your saddles and used tack, boots, hats and western gear to SWAP, SELL or BUY on Saturday, July 23rd -- 10am to 4pm.

Festivities will include cowboy polo and kids games. Come watch the team roping, or get into the barrel racing. See the rare white buffaloand take a ride in the stagecoach!

Concession lunch by the famous chuck wagon cook Carl Hawkins. This will be a fun western day for all!

The Mortenson Arena is located at 96 Bonanza Creek Road in Santa Fe. To get there from I-25, go south on Hwy 14 (Turquoise Trail) for 8 miles. Just past San Marcos Café, turn right on Bonanza Creek Rd. drive. Mortenson’s is about 1 mile down on the left just past Thall’s Veterinary Hospital.
