Enjoying Life, 24 hours a day, 8 days a week...

My adult life began with an intention to become an English Professor. The background in Literature colored everything, and has made all the difference, as I find that visionary, creative writers are more often than not far ahead of the leaders in so-called "Social Science" fields. Literati do not constrain themselves to "evidence based knowing", but allow knowing to come in all forms.

I am the President of a spiritually resourced graduate school, Southwestern College, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We offer Masters' Degrees in Art Therapy/Counseling and Counseling, as well as Specialty Certificate Programs for people in the helping/healing professions.

I have been the Training Director for Psychology at Walden University, Director of Health and Counseling at Baldwin-Wallace College, a Psychologist for the University of Texas Counseling Center, and have had all the amusing jobs listed on this site. Many lineages come through me and make their mark, especially the European-based ones, indigenous and otherwise. My current most strongly resonating paradigm parallels what some call New Thought (that fits for me), which to me means “the perennial wisdom” as re-experienced and re-articulated by every culture and every era, “open at the top” and aligning with Source.
