Greta is an artist, writer and renaissance woman
Topic: Santa Fe Fashion and Style

If one is lucky, one reaches a point in life where change takes hold. In my life it happened when my children arrived at a magical moment. They no longer needed me to be the baker of bread, the taxi service or their personal sideline cheerleader. They needed me to give them the wisdom of a life well lived and I needed to reconnect with that life
I loaded my SUV, affectionately known as “Ms.P”, with everything important for an epic journey and I came to Santa Fe. I traded my 150 pairs of city stilettos, for pink hiking boots. Sketchbooks, pastels, pens and books took the place of lunches with the girls, making fried chicken for the entire football team, and answering the never ending question “what’s for dinner?”
Equipped with water, music and new sunglasses I drove across the country stopping where I pleased. I visited a working salt mine in Kansas, taking the miners elevator 600 feet down into the darkness with my 80 year old Aunt T. Gazed leisurely at Virginia, West Virginia, Texas, and St. Louis, the trip of a lifetime, the one I had been dreaming of. I finally stopped at a place of grace and beauty called Santa Fe.
My eyes are wide with the energy of an amazing city with an eclectic mix of art and culture. From visions of the beginning of time at Bandelier to the mix of personalities on any afternoon in the Plaza, Santa Fe is undeniably fascinating. I want see every corner and experience every moment of this city. Make it my own. Life holds a miracle everyday.
I promise you’ll always find something new, interesting and different in my blog, with a taste of my own flavor and style. The door is open, the lights are on, and adventure is calling. Santa Fe; I am ready to look in every corner of your space, write about it, paint it and live it.
You are invited along for my personal renaissance. Come with me as I explore my new space and discover the art, music, literature, and love of Santa Fe, The City Different
