Biography

My birthplace is Berlin Germany. However, my formative years were spent in the exotic, colorful environment of Cairo, Egypt. I learnt to use four languages fluently and to see the Magic in Life. Probably, this influenced my determination to be an Artist...

      "Any creative journey is a quest born of the heart. When I start painting, I do not know what the end result will look like or how I will get there. Since I know preconceived ideas keep out truth, I turn my trust over to intuition and allow the creative unfolding to guide my hand. As I paint, I keep asking if it feels authentic or not. My choice is going within to the feeling level, to the heart, to find what needs to be expressed. It is not my intention to interpret the visible world for the viewer. Rather, I would hope to guide the eye to find its own experiences and associations. All that is required is an open mind".
