Biography

Born and raised in the Yucatan Peninsula, artist Omar Ganzo, draws inspiration for his colorful and simple yet compelling paintings from his rich cultural background, family, travels and current desert residence in beautiful Santa Fe, NM.  Omar Ganzo’s enthusiasm for life and art is reflective in his vibrant color palette and straightforward aesthetic approach.  Expanding his artistic abilities into poetry, the occasional poem written in his native Spanish can be found inscribed against the background of various paintings.  It is all about the allure of simple yet exquisite nuances in life that compel him to create and share his talent.
