My work expresses my fascination with nature, the planet and the Universe. I relate to Einstein's words: "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science." Creating art is a meditation on these mysteries and a desire to explore their secrets.

I was born in Poland and came to the US as a refugee. After living in Chicago, Woodstock and San Diego I have settled in Santa Fe where I live with my husband, a writer.  I have studied Chinese Brush Painting, Watercolor, Acrylics and Collage. My art education includes college level instruction and individual tutoring by master artists. This background is the foundation for my digital work. The digital medium makes it possible for me to express complex concepts rather difficult to achieve with traditional painting tools. Besides 55 juried shows I have been part of several international environmental exhibits and have been published in four professional books on art and the environment.
