Explore Arts & Culture: Movies and Film
New Mexico has long been a favorite location for production of both major films and TV programs, as well as films from local film makers. The combination of great weather, incredible scenery, availability of talented crew, and tax incentives make this a haven for "Hollywood away from Hollywood". Major films currently in production here include; The Loop, Let Me In, In Plain Sight, Due Date, Passion Play, Breaking Bad Season 3, and MacGruber. "Recently Wrapped" films include; The Sunset Limited, The Resident, Undocumented, The Book of Eli, The Spy Next Door, and Georgia O'Keeffe.
