"The Santa Fe community holds a particular place in Talin Market’s heart"
New Mexico’s largest international food grocer, Talin Market World Food Fare, will be opening a Santa Fe location in February 2013. It will anchor the Luna District, a brand new mixed-use retail/residential space located on Cerrillos Road.
The approximately 5,000 -square-foot store will provide a wide selection of global ingredients ranging from tropical and Asian produce to fresh meat and seafood. The space will also contain a Japanese-style ramen bar.
The Santa Fe community holds a particular place in Talin Market’s heart.
"Santa Feans have been some of our most loyal customers for decades," said Victor Limary, Talin Market's director of operations. "They've traveled the world and have an extremely varied palate. We're excited to be able to provide the Santa Fe and Los Alamos communities with convenient access to the foods that they've grown up with or have tried abroad. We look forward to being an integral part of the community and developing long-lasting relationships with our guests and our neighbors. Being located in downtown Santa Fe is wonderful because of how walkable the area is. We're literally blocks away from some of Santa Fe's most active areas."
Locally owned and operated, Talin Market has been serving New Mexico since 1978. The Santa Fe location will employ approximately 20 team members, but the press materials do not specify whether these are full- or part-time jobs.
