Exhibition of interior design creations takes place Oct. 5-11 and Oct. 11-12
From a Show House Santa Fe news release
Show House Santa Fe, the debut of an annual benefit, features a show house transformed by Santa Fe's top interior designers into an exciting exhibit of interior design creations. Held October 5-11 and October 11-12, Show House Santa Fe includes a gala Fashion Forward Party and events by designers donating their time and efforts to raise money for local charities.
For this year's inaugural event, a house was taken off the market by Ashley Margetson of Sotheby’s International Realty to provide 10 of Santa Fe’s top designers with a show house of exciting individual rooms. Each designer will create an interior for a room in the house that's based on the inspiration of a fashion icon, from Valentino and Millicent Rogers to Calvin Klein and Alexander McQueen. The event is open to the public.
This year's benefit supports Dollars4Schools.org, a website that connects donors with school and teacher-defined solutions for Santa Fe Public Schools by raising donations that fund the programs and projects that each Santa Fe public school and its teachers identify as important to the success of its students and their families.
Show House Santa Fe was co-founded by David Naylor of David Naylor Interiors and Jennifer Ashton of Jennifer Ashton Interiors. The Show House Santa Fe Committee of Interior Designer Participants includes Jackie Butler, Catherine Clemens, Pam Duncan, Emily Henry, Edy Keeler, Annie O'Carroll, Lisa Samuel, Paul Rochford and Michael Violante.
