The Santa Fe Community College is sponsoring an event as part of the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival and the deadline for submissions is October 12

Film Program invites New Mexico filmmakers who have completed short films, scripts and pitches to hear what experienced professionals think of their ideas at a free review session set to coincide with the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival.

Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 12. The reviews will be held on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday, October 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Warehouse 21, 1614 Paseo de Peralta.

A panel of professional filmmakers will review the clip, script or pitch with its creator and give feedback. The panel members are:

  • Amy Davis, actor, producer, writer, Pig Death Machine
  • Jon Moritsugu, director, My Degeneration, Sleazy Rider
  • Mark Walter, vice president of operations, SantaFe Studios
  • Peter Kershaw, director, 20 Ways, Astronomer’s Sun
