Ortiz Middle School Winter Band ShowcaseTuesday, December 11, 6:30 p.m.
Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 share holiday and band standards such as “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Catch a Falling Star,” “A Rock,” “No Phobia,” “Feliz Navidad” and “Anasazi.”

Santa Fe High School Band, Choir, Guitar, and String Orchestra Winter Concert Tuesday, December 11, 6:30 p.m. - Saint Francis Auditorium, New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 W. Palace Avenue
150 performers present a varied repertoire, featuring such classics as “Carol of the Bells,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Ride On, King Jesus.” A special feature of this stunning annual show is a collaborative piece with choir, guitar and orchestra together.

Kaune Elementary Winter Holidays Concert and Art Exhibition Wednesday, December 12, 1:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. - Kaune Elementary, 1409 Monterey Drive

Capshaw Middle School Winter Band, Choir, and String Orchestra Concert and Art ExhibitionWednesday, December 12, 6:30 p.m.
Capshaw students in grades 7 and 8 share their accomplishments in band, choir and string orchestra by performing “Hanukkah Habanera,” “A La Media Noche” and “Bonse Aba.” A special feature of this evening is the appearance of the Aspen Community School Orchestra as they join the Capshaw Orchestra.

Sweeney Elementary “Music and Literature Night” A Winter Holiday Band, Guitar & Choir ConcertThursday, December 13, 6:00 p.m.
Students in grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 present band, choir, and guitar holiday standards as well as guitar demonstrations. This concert will be performed in conjunction with Sweeney’s annual book fair in the library. It’s a chance for the community to hear fun tunes and shop for the holidays! Book fair will be open before and after the concert.

Cesar Chavez Community School Winter Concert and Art Show Thursday, December 13, 6:00 p.m. 
Elementary music students in grades 2 and 3 team with the school choir (grades 3 – 5) and 2nd and 3rd grade visual artists to give a holiday treat to the community. Hear “Celebramos Juntos,” “Colors of Christmas,” “Silly Holiday Song,” “First Day of Winter” and “Holiday of Music.”

Ramirez Thomas Elementary Winter Concert Thursday, December 13, 6:00 p.m. 
Students in band and elementary music share favorites of the season and band standards. Grades Kindergarten, 1, 2, and 5.

Eldorado Academy Winter Choral Concert Thursday, December 13, 6:30 p.m. 
Choral students in grades 6, 7, and 8 perform “The Sally Gardens,” “Hashivenu,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Corner of the Sky” and “All You Need is Love.”

Gonzales Community School Choir and Elementary Music Concert Thursday, December 13, 6:30 p.m. 
Choir students in grades 4 and 5 will present a 6-song cycle entitled “Cantamos Americanos” with narration. Elementary music students will share holiday selections. Middle school choir students will perform “Rhythm of Life,” “Singin’ In the Rain,” “Sally Gardens” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”

ATC’s Acoustic Americana Woody Guthrie Concert - Thursday, December 13, 7:00 p.m. - Backroad Pizza - 1807 2nd Street
Acoustic Americana students play and study traditional American folk music. This concert will feature stringband music of Appalachia, mining songs, and a full set of Woody Guthrie songs to celebrate his 100th birthday.

Capital High School Winter Concert Band, Choir, and String OrchestraThursday, December 13, 7:00 p.m. - Bryan Fant Theater
An exceptional evening of music from Capital High music students includes “Ukranian Bell Carol,” Pachelbel’s “Canon in D,” “Arbol de Navidad,” “Ding, Dong, Merrily,” “Winter” from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Suite, “African Noel” and “Bonnie Doon.” Special features are a student violin soloist with Vivaldi’s music and holiday carols sung in Spanish, German and English.

Santa Fe High School WinterfestFriday, December 14, 5:00 p.m.
The Visual Arts Department Winter Art Show & Open House in the Fine Arts Building with music provided by the SFHS Orchestra. The Culinary Department will have a food showcase in the Commons with a performance by the Advanced Jazz Band. The Performing Arts Department starts their musical showcase at 7:33. The campus will be lit up with farolitos to put everybody in the holiday spirit!

Students from DeVargas Middle School and Santa Fe High School join Pecos mariachi students in collaborative performance.

Ramirez Thomas Guitar ConcertMonday, December 17, 5:30 p.m. - Room K102
Informal demonstration of winter songs by Ramirez Thomas guitar students. Hear beginning and advanced students play warm up exercises, tuning demonstrations, as well as tunes such as “Cielito Lindo,” “Jingle Bells,” “Feliz Navidad” and advanced solos.

Aspen Community Magnet School Band and Choir Concert Tuesday, December 18, 6:00 p.m.
Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 share holiday favorites: “Carol of the Bells,” “Join the Crowd” and other holiday-themed music.

Acequia Madre Elementary presents “A Pirate’s Christmas”Tuesday, December 18, 6:00 p.m.
Elementary music and choir students in grades K-6 share a special presentation.

Gonzales Community School String Orchestra Concert Tuesday, December 18, 6:00 p.m.
Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will perform “Postcards from Russia,” “Saint Anthony’s Chorale,” and a varied selection of orchestra literature. Beginner and advanced orchestras share the holiday spirit.

Wood Gormley Panther Singers and 5th/6th Grade Winter Band ConcertTuesday, December 18, 6:00 p.m.
Band and choir students share holiday pieces, Broadway songs, and standard band and choral repertoire.

Agua Fria Elementary Presents the 11th Annual Nutcracker - Tuesday, December 18th 1:30 and 6:00 p.m.
Performed by students in Mr. Gorman’s 4/5 Dual Language Class and the After School Program.

Eldorado Community School String Orchestra Holiday ConcertTuesday, December 18, 6:30 p.m. 
The Eldorado Community School Academy String Orchestra Program presents the 6th Grade Beginning Orchestra and 7th/8th Grade Intermediate Orchestra performing traditional folk tunes as well as holiday favorites and classical hits such as Pachelbel’s Canon in D and Offenbach’s beloved “Can-Can.”
