Enjoy a full day of activities, including live music and entertainment, a car show, tours of historic Nob Hill, children's activities, an artisan market, sidewalk sales, plus local wine, beer and culinary events. 

Funk and soul jazz saxophonist Maceo Parker performs on the main stage at 9 p.m.  Parker is well known for his work as a sideman for James Brown during the 1960s.  He also played with George Clinton's band Parliament-Funkadelic, then began a successful solo career in the 1990s.  Parker has performed and recorded with Prince, Jane's Addiction and the Dave Matthews Band.

The 2011 Nob Hill Summerfest is being held in in collaboration with the New Mexico Jazz Festival and Nob Hill Main Street.

7 p.m. - Soul Kitchen w. Hillary Smith & Chris Dracup - Blues-drenched soul
8 p.m. - DJ Caterwaul
9 p.m. - MACEO PARKER - Saxophone legend of James Brown orchestra fame with his 8-piece band. 2% Jazz 98% funky stuff!

4 p.m. - Jasper - Burque’s quirkiest 3-piece dance band
5 p.m. - Sol Calypso - Steel drum band playing calypso, soca, and caribbean favorites
6 p.m. - Cali Shaw - Acoustic singer/songwriter folk from the Felonious Groove guys

Transportation & Parking

ABQ Ride - Red Line #766, Green Line #777 and Route #66 Busses will be rerouted due to the event.  Riders taking a bus to the event can get off Eastbound on Monte Vista and Westbound on Adams.  For more information about bus routes visit ABQ Ride

Public parking is available on surrounding streets, at the UNM Parking lot on the northwest corner of Central & Girard and at the American Inn parking on Central & Adams.  ABQ Trolley Co.Leaving www.cabq.gov, click for disclaimer will be providing free trolley rides on Central within the event boundaries.
