The 13th annual Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival, which focuses on a recommitment to recycling, is scheduled for November 11-13 at El Museo Cultural in the Santa Fe Railyard District.
The festival begins with a fashion show and art opening from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 11. Activities continue over the weekend with more than 50 artists selling wares made out of at least 75% recycled or reused material. The festival continues from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The Recycle Santa Fe Art Festival is held in conjunction with National America Recycles Day on November 15. During this nationwide event citizens are encouraged to complete a pledge form and commit to recycling. “This is a great opportunity for Santa Feans to learn about recycling and at the same time have some fun,&ddquo; said Keep Santa Fe Beautiful Coordinator Gilda Montaño.
Admission on Friday is $5 plus a separate $5 admission for the fashion show. There is no admission charge on Saturday and Sunday.
