From a City of Santa Fe press release...

Mayor David Coss will deliver his annual State of the City Address on Tuesday, October 23 at 5:15 p.m. at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. The public is invited to listen to pre-speech entertainment by the Santa Fe High School Jazz Band, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks prepared by the Cowgirl BBQ.

The address, mandated by city ordinance to have the mayor give publicly every year, discusses the challenges, the accomplishments, the regional partnerships and what’s in store for the future for the Santa Fe community. Coss will make exciting announcements which will benefit locals and visitors alike and will offer some humorous and serious stories he has experienced as Santa Fe’s mayor. Job creation, ensuring a safe and clean city, a living river and progressive economic development policies are key priorities of Coss’s administration.

This is a family-friendly event, with city employees’ children being asked to stand and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
