It’s probably safe to argue that Santa Fe isn’t exactly a St. Patrick’s Day hotspot, especially when compared to the March 17 bacchanalia that is Boston, Chicago and, yes, Savannah.

We won’t be dyeing the Santa Fe River shamrock green -- we’d need water, for starters -- and the closest thing to a St. Patrick’s Day parade might just end up being the waiting line outside of Tomasita’s. But despite the city’s modest-by-comparison offerings, some Santa Feans will still manage to honor the “Apostle of Ireland” and a rich and noble Irish culture by drinking too much green beer and acting like total jackasses. For those people, here’s the number to Capital City Cab: (505) 438-0000.

For the rest of us, here are some calendar highlights for St. Patrick's Day weekend, 2013. (We source our calendar picks from events that are posted on the SantaFe.com calendar. If your event is not showcased, please submit it.)
