Kiss and Make Up: Calendar Highlights for Valentine’s Weekend

Didn't make a great impression on the 14th? Well, here at SantaFe.com we're all about second chances -- especially when it comes to wooing that significant other. Luckily for you, Valentine's Day continues into the weekend with ice-skating for couples, singles-group dances and, for the amorously ambitious, 'Dominatrix for Dummies.'

In addition, some big names are coming to town, with talks from pop-culture artist and activist Shepard Fairey and Donald Trump's favorite political commentator and TV talk show host, Bill Maher. Please note, however, that tickets are sold out to see Bill Maher, according to the Tickets Santa Fe box office. Tickets for the Shepard Fairey Q&A are also mostly sold out: Unclaimed tickets will be re-released to the public starting at 6 p.m. on the day of the event, according to the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. But enough of what we can't do.

Here are SantaFe.com's weekend calendar highlights. If your events are not featured on the SantaFe.com calendar, please consider submitting them.

Enjoy your weekend of love, togetherness and Hallmark obligation. And if you're not a fan of Valentine's Day, here's something to be grateful for: Today is the furthest possible day from Valentine's Day 2014.
