'All of our State Parks offer something fun for the Fourth of July—whether you want to camp, fish or go boating'
Celebrate your independence with the whole family at a New Mexico State Park! State Parks will have a variety of great events on the July 4th weekend.
“All of our State Parks offer something fun for the Fourth of July—whether you want to camp, fish or go boating,” said State Parks Director Tommy Mutz. “The fireworks displays this year will be spectacular and offer a safer experience for everyone.”
Festivities and fireworks displays are at the following state parks:
Friday, July 4th
Saturday, July 5th
State Parks officials remind you to always make safety your number one priority—on land and in the water. Wearing lifejackets saves lives; always wear a lifejacket when you’re on a boat or swimming. State Parks offers FREE boating safety classes around the state and on-line throughout the year.
