Santa Fe's annual ARTFeast is a joyful celebration of the city's fine food, fashion, homes, wine and art, with a festive weekend of home tours, parties, a fashion show, dinner and an auction and a champagne artists brunch. The highlight, the Edible Art Tour, features a galloping gourmet tour of galleries on the legendary Canyon Road and downtown, where edible masterpieces are served up, along with artful food.

More than 30 galleries throw open their doors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 24, offering delectable hors d'oeuvres, desserts and other treats prepared by more than 40 restaurants and caterers. Participating restaurants include The Palace Restaurant & Saloon, Las Fuentes Restaurant & Bar at Bishop's Lodge, Jambo Cafe, Blue Heron at Sunrise Springs, Terra at Encantado Resort, Luminaria at Inn of Loretto and Amaya at Hotel Santa Fe.

It's fun to gaze and graze at this event, which raises funds for ARTSmart, a local nonprofit that supports art programs and supplies for students in Santa Fe public schools.

Following the Edible Art Tour, The Ore House at Milagro hosts an after party from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., with music by DJs Joe Ray Sandoval, King George and DJ Aztech Sol. The event includes hors d'oeuvres prepared by Milagro chef Carlos Hernandez.

Other ARTFeast culinary events include an Art of Fashion: Runway Show & Luncheon, held Friday, February 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Inn of Loretto. The show includes a feast of contemporary American cuisine fused with vibrant flavors of the Southwest, prepared by Luminaria's chef Matt Ostrander.

A Gourmet Dinner and Auction honoring artist Poteet Victory takes place at Encantado Resort Saturday, February 25 at 6 p.m. The multi-course banquet features dishes by Lorin Parrish of Body Santa Fe, Steven Lemon of O Eating House, Mark Connell of Tomme and chef Kim Muller, coordinated by Charles Dale of Terra at Encantado Resort.

The Artists Champagne Brunch & Auction, held at the Scottish Rite Temple Sunday, Feb. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., serves up an elegant brunch prepared by Peas 'n' Pod Catering, with champagne and Bloody Marys. Auction items include works by Santa Fe painters and restaurant, resort and spa packages.

ARTFeast is a magical celebration of the very best of Santa Fe. Locals and visitors alike turn out for this event year and last year, more than 2,200 tickets were sold, raising more than $137,000 for ARTSmart's art projects, resources and scholarships.
