The July 20 Show
Sotheby's International Realty's weekly radio show features host Rey Post and a variety of special guests offering the best news, information and commentary regarding every aspect of today's real estate market.
This Sunday---in both hours of the show---join show host, Sotheby’s International Realty Associate Broker Rey Post and his guests for a discussion of how the lives of home owners, buyers and sellers are impacted by technology. July 20 marks the 45-year anniversary of man’s first walk on the surface of the moon and technological advances brought about by the U.S. space program have greatly influenced many consumer products and services.
In his weekly commentary, Ron Blessey, Private Mortgage Banker with Wells Fargo, will offer observations on how technology has significantly impacted the process that home buyers follow when using a mortgage to purchase a new residence.
Gene Butler, President of well-known Santa Fe business, The Firebird, will speak to technological advances in products and services offered to consumers when it comes to home irrigation systems, as well as stove and fireplace options.
Mike Root, Co-Owner of the popular summer destination Western Life Camp, will offer his thoughts on the value of using his family and group retreat venue to actually unplug from technology. In keeping with the show theme, the camp offers a crystal-clear night sky view of the moon as natural entertainment for its guests.
Todd Shaw, the Fitness, Tennis and Spa Director at The Club at Las Campanas, will speak to the state-of-the-art and technologically forward-thinking facilities and practices offered at this world-class and well-known sports center.
Madeline McCue, General Manager of Servpro of Santa Fe, the restoration and clean-up source for home owners in our region, will address the use of technology in the services her company offers to consumers.
Beverly and Dennis Little, Co-Founders of the 2014 Santa Fe Concorso rare car gathering, will speak to the importance of achieving a balance between what technology brings to automobile performance, as well as the use of design elements to underscore car aesthetics. Beverly and Dennis will also speak to their experience touring the Neil Armstrong Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The astronaut was the first man to walk on the surface of the moon on July 20, 1969. The Santa Fe Concorso is being profiled by “All Things Real Estate” under the show’s Unique Destinations series. The show will air a two-hour remote broadcast from the event on September 28. Ticket information for the event can be found at: www.santafeconcorso.com .
CEO of Santa Fe’s Planet Forward LLC, Rod Gesten, will join Rey as guest co-host for the second hour of the program and offer commentary on the connection between sustainability and the significance of man’s first walk on the moon 45 years ago.
