From a After Hours Alliance press release...
A call to New Mexico artists and musicians of all disciplines is open now at www.ahafestival.com/apply. The application deadline is midnight on July 15. The AHA Fest will be held on September 16 in the Railyard Plaza.
This year's AHA Fest is part of the 10-day Santa Fe Reporter Arts Festival, which includes both free and ticketed performances by national and local acts. Check upcoming issues of the Reporter or visit santafearts.com for more info.
Last year's festival featured more than 30 artists and 16 musical acts that drew more than 2,000 people to the Railyard. This year, the coordinators are looking for applications for artist booths and stage performances as well as installations, pop-up performances, ambient or wandering art, interactive art and other creative or non-traditional presentation formats. Literary artists are also encouraged to apply to give readings and/or display their work. Participating artists may sell their work, but this is not required.
AHA is also interested in hearing from people who wish to assist with event planning and coordination on a volunteer basis. Sponsorship opportunities are also available--contact info@afterhoursalliance.com for more information.
