Santa Fe is widely known as an arts and culture mecca, particularly among those who enjoy history, the allure of the Wild West and unrivaled cuisine. Ironically, it is all too easy to get into an entertainment rut: Avid gallery goers have their Friday evenings mapped out, opera aficionados are pretty much worthless throughout the summer, and hardcore music fanatics are often busy supporting their favorite local act. But if there is one thing a Santa Fean should pride themselves on, it is the amount of cultural diversity at their disposal. This weekend, we challenge la gente de Santa Fe to enjoy all the meats of our cultural stew. Here now, is a selection of events taking place in Santa Fe this coming weekend that will provide a much-needed break from your respective routine and help you grow into the cultural esthete you already think you are.
