While our compatriots in the Northeast hunker down and brace for a massive winter wallop, we here in Santa Fe have the luxury of bursting out of the oppressive shackles of offices and homesteads and stepping into a weekend of...well, pretty dreary weather, actually. But chilly air and the slight chance of snowfall doesn't mean you have to go into hermit mode. From innovative theater production debuts and raucous pub concerts to titillating art exhibition openings and lectures about chocolate, this weekend is an esthete's delight.

Here are SantaFe.com's weekend calendar highlights. (If your events are not featured on the SantaFe.com calendar, please consider submitting them.)

Braden's pick: "Pinup-ology" opening reception at Eggman and Walrus, Friday

Andrew's Pick: ARCOS Dance presents "The Warriors: A Love Story" at the Center for Contemporary Arts, opens Friday

Todd's Pick: Eric Bibb And Habib Koité: Brothers In Bamak at the Lensic, Saturday
