The Santa Fe Opera hosts the American premiere of Huang Ruo's "Dr. Sun Yat-Sen," which explores a variety of love stories amidst the search for modern identity during the ancient Chinese monarchy, July 26, 30.

A Cornucopia of Culture

The time has come for Santa Fe's 63rd Annual Traditional Spanish Market (July 26-27). The festival attracts more than 70,000 visitors every year and features work from more than 200 Traditional Spanish Market Artists, food, music, dance, literature and more.

Bandstand Live!

The 2014 Santa Fe Bandstand returns to the historic Plaza with free, live evening performances running through August 28. This week's performances:

South Side Live

This week's Santa Fe Bandstand performances extend to the San Ysidro Plaza with Busy & The Crazy 88 and Manzanares with Max & the Maxpack, July 26. Santafe.com will live stream the event for the fans who can't make it.

Opera Season

Upcoming performances at the Santa Fe Opera include Beethoven’s only opera, "Fidelio" (July 25, 31), the enthralling historical opera "Dr. Sun Yat-sen" (July 26, 30), Bizet's archetypal love story, "Carmen" (July 28) and Donizetti's opera buffa, "Don Pasquale" (July 29). 

Jazz Trio

New Mexico Jazz Festival presents the Jack DeJohnette Trio with Ravi Coltrane & Matt Garrison. The trio performs open improvisations and original compositions at the Lensic, July 26.

It's Hip to be Square

The Santa Fe Children’s Museum will host a celebration, Saturday, July 26 to unveil their new custom-built playhouse inspired by the Rubik’s Cube.
