Bandstand Live!

The 2014 Santa Fe Bandstand returns to the historic Plaza with free, live evening performances running through August 28. This week's performances:

Chamber Music Season

The 42nd annual Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival brings together the world’s finest musicians to perform chamber music in the City Different. This week's concerts include Schubert and Brahms (July 21), Jon Nakamatsu Piano Recital (July 22), Mendelssohn & Brett Dean and Beethoven & Shostakovich (July 24) and Breaking Bach (July 26). 

The 'Good' Life

Ironweed Productions teams with the Santa Fe Playhouse to present David Lindsay-Abaire's riveting new drama "Good People", directed by Wendy Chapin, July 24-27. The production promises a provocative and powerful evening of theater that asks "who really are 'good people'"?

Write On!

Some of the country’s most renowned Native and non-Native writers, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry and film writers, will join together on the Institute of American Indian Arts’ (IAIA) campus for the semi-annual IAIA Writers Festival July 19-25, 2014.

Wild, Wild West

El Rancho de Las Golondrinas presents Territorial Law and Order, an event that celebrates the Frontier lifestyle of the Wild West. The festivites take place August 1 and 2, and include a Peruvian horse show, both days.

Night Life

Designed to explore the night time economy in Santa Fe, the Night Wave project features a wide array of performances and events at six different downtown venues, July 31-Aug. 2. Nighttime activities begin at 8 p.m. and continue through 2 a.m., offering late night food options and transportation services.

Opera Season

Upcoming performances at the Santa Fe Opera include a double bill featuring Mozart’s brief, witty opera "The Impresario" and Stravinsky's one-act "Le Rossignol" (July 23) and Beethoven’s "Fidelio" (July 25, 31) and the enthralling historical opera "Dr. Sun Yat-sen" (July 26, 30).
